2024 Field of Glory

The Azusa Rotary Club, in partnership with the City of Azusa, is excited to announce the 9th Annual Field of Glory, which will showcase an inspirational display of over 500 U.S. Flags on the front lawn of Azusa City Hall. The event will take place from Saturday, September 7 through Friday, September 13, 2024.

We cordially invite members of the community to attend our evening Opening Ceremony on Saturday, September 7. We will be commemorating 9/11 and paying tribute to our veterans, military members, and first responders. You can show your support for these remarkable individuals and their selfless service by sponsoring a U.S. Flag or a Freedom Flag (the official flag of remembrance for 9/11). Your flag will be on display with a personal dedication throughout the week-long event.

We also encourage visitors to take a leisurely stroll through this awe-inspiring flag display during the event. The Field of Flags is truly breathtaking, especially when illuminated at night.

Freedom Flag Ceremony – Azusa City Hall Front Lawn

Join us for the reading of the meaning of the Freedom Flag, a moment of silence in remembrance of the victims of 9/11 and the reading of a student essay.

Opening Ceremony – Azusa City Hall Front Lawn

6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

K-12 Student Field of Glory Artwork Display – Azusa City Courtyard

FUNDRAISER TO SUPPORT YOUTH PROGRAMS AND STUDENT VETERAN SERVICES

The Field of Glory is also a fundraiser for the Azusa Rotary Foundation. Your purchase of a U.S. flag, Freedom Flag or personal donation helps to support our Rotary youth programs, such as the 4-Way Test Speech Contest, Youth Leadership Camps, and Student Scholarships. Our funds also benefit local organizations serving student veterans and at-risk youth.
